Lots to update on - but to keep it short, I felt this has been our best dressage in a LONG time. However, the score definitely did not reflect at only 41.5 (58.5%), which I thought was rather harsh for a pre-novice. BUT, I'm going to let you be the judge. I know he hollows & comes above the bit in the downwards transitions, and our walk isn't exactly to be desired, but I felt his trot and canter work weren't bad to only receive 5s and 6s. The gap in the middle is when my mum accidently stopped filming and didn't realise, so the free walk and second 10m loop is missed out. Oh also, we have a slight stumble in our first movement as there was a rock as big as my hand on X - not even joking! Couldn't believe that 18 previous competitors had each been over X 5 times and not said anything. Although when I told the judge she didn't say anything, other than glared at me. Sometimes I wonder why they bother judging if they can't do it with a smile on their face! Sj and XC vids to follow...
