Filmed on a rather cold Thursday morning in July, watch this Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner of Hainan Airlines make a beautiful smooth landing at Edinburgh Airport (EDI/EGPH), Scotland, and after a couple of hours on the ground, taxi right past us before departing for Dublin! 😃

This was my first time visiting the '06 mound' at Edinburgh Airport, and I think you'll agree it is an absolutely fantastic (and massively under-rated) spot! 😍 It allows for brilliant close-up landing and takeoff shots, and even closer taxi shots, with the additional bonus of being above the aircraft, making it an excellent vantage point! 👌

Check out this stunning Hainan Airlines Boeing 787-9 make an approach and landing from Beijing Capital (PEK/ZBAA). Later on the same aircraft taxies just metres infront of us and departs to Dublin (DUB/EIDW), Ireland. This route commenced in June 2018, first of all using an Airbus A330, then a Boeing 787-8, and during the summer period a 787-9! Since I filmed this Hainan have downgraded it to a 787-8, hence it was really nice to get some footage of the -9 at EDI 😆

The aircraft in this video was B-1432, a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. This video was filmed at Edinburgh Airport, Scotland, on the 12th July 2018. 🌍

On this occasion I was plane spotting with 4 great friends, check out their channels below...😊
