A surfer who refers to himself as shark bait has been hospitalized after being attacked by a shark during an early morning surf on the NSW mid-north coast. Shark Bait received five deep lacerations to one of his lower legs whilst surfing at Nambucca Heads.

He managed to swim to a nearby break wall where he was spotted by a passerby who called emergency services. He, of course, was treated at the scene before being flown to a hospital where he’s in a stable condition.
