Larry Pratt, Executive Director at Gun Owners of America (GOA) continues the interview by discussing the need to overturn the ban on having guns in federal parks and repealing the Veterans Disarmament Act. He states 140,000 veterans have lost their gun rights and 1,000 every month is added to that due to a diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder. He also makes the connection that owning a gun is like having home insurance. It's there for when you need it.
