The Luxman Corporation achieved the pinnacle of the art of late analog and early digital stereo receivers by producing this 40+ pound, 90 watt, behemoth in 1982. Nicknamed "Suckface," it had an unusual feature whereby the adjusting knob cover plate would retract when the unit is turned on, and come out flush again when the unit was powered off. It is a highly collectible receiver and, if I can get it running, it will be the pride of my collection. I hope you enjoy this preview.
