Wilton's violet food coloring is one of my favorite food colorings to dye with. The brilliant purple dye splits into a stunning teal and fucia. I've broken Wilton's violet on roving in a variety of techniques, and today I used the speckled dyeing technique (applying dye with a fork and eyedropper) to the roving.
