Drop "D" can be found in many different music styles including; Rock, Metal, Blues, Country, New Age, Acoustic Easy Listening, Smooth Jazz and even in Pop songs. The nice thing about using it, is how easy the tuning is to achieve. You can literally place your guitar into "Drop D" tuning within seconds. And, that makes it one of the easiest tunings to apply live on-stage, (because moving in and out of it requires next to no effort). The video get's started by learning to drop into this tuning and then we get right to work on learning some guitar riffs in, "Drop D." Enjoy the lesson.
