While it's still only in the pipeline, we can create some really cool stuff by depositing ceramic, metal, or plastic onto a surface layer by layer. Unfortunately, the current 3D printer can only extrude plastic, but it's only matter of time till we see a higher level of versatility within these already extraordinary machines.
