Bangladesh Cricket

In the second season of Pakistan Super League (PSL), two Bangladeshi cricketers will take part. Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal, both will be seen to play for Peshawar Zalmi.
Shakib, who played for Karachi Kings in last edition, was not retained by his former franchisee, allowing the Peshawar team to scoop up the most sought-after all-rounder in the world. Tamim played for the Zalmis in the last edition as well where he had a stellar campaign.
However, the Bangladeshi duo will not be able to play the entirety of the tournament due to international commitments. The upcoming season of PSL will run between February 9 and March 5. But from the exact same date of its opening, Bangladesh are scheduled to play a one-off Test against India in Hyderabad. So Shakib and Tamim won’t be available from the beginning of PSL-2.
Again they will play against Sri Lanka in March. So the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) may not allow them to play in PSL in that month. As a result, Peshawar Zalmi have found a replacement for Shakib Al Hasan, which is Sri Lankan legend Tillakaratne Dilshan. But they didn’t take anyone in place of Tamim.
