Really wanted to get out to the jetty again today but for the last 3 weeks, the winds have been out of the North or East and that means big waves and rough seas. Too rough for this ol' soldier and his little boat so I settle for bridge fishing. The water was exceptionally high and I was not able to gather any oysters for crushing and chumming us the sheepshead. As a result, I only was able to catch 2 nice keepers. Had I had a bucket of oysters, I know there would have been 6 or 7 keepers in the cooler today. Next week, the tides should be more agreeable for getting oysters and nice size TASTY sheepshead.
