"Courage"

Patty McDonough Kennedy has 20 years of experience working in marketing and communications for organizations that range from international conglomerates to emerging start-up companies. She has lived and worked in almost every country that starts with a "U" (Ukraine, Uganda, U.S. and the U.K) and is proud to have worked with some of the most inspiring, courageous people who have ever lived. Patty now splits her time between New York -- where she is CEO and founder of Kennedy Spencer, and Vienna, Austria. A mom of two boys, dual American-Irish citizen and proud St. Bonaventure University alum, Patty spends most of her time exploring life and observing the similarities that unite us. She's thinking about writing a book: Earning Your Laugh Lines.

About TEDx:

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.*
