Cheap Eats Manila: Chicken Bacolod Inasal Greenbelt 1 Makati.  Chicken Bacolod is one of our favorite local Grilled Chicken
restaurants in Manila.  It was first opened by Adib Tamano in 1993 in Katipunan Quezon City and currently has 4 branches around the metro.  Bacolod is a city in the Central Visayan islands of the Philippines that is well known for the Chicken Inasal or Grilled Chicken.  They use ginger, garlic, calmansi, soda, lemongrass, coconut vinegar, salt, black pepper and brown sugar to marinate the chicken before grilling.  It is basted with anatto oil and margarine while grilling to give it that gorgeously authentic yellowish tinge.

From their menu we would highly recommend their Chicken Breast Inasal, Chicken Thigh Inasal, Molo Soup, Inihaw na Pusit, Garlic Rice and Java Rice.
