Reeva's family welcome Pistorius's extended sentence

The Steenkamp family has welcomed Oscar Pistorius's extended sentence by the The Supreme Court of Appeal, saying its justice for Reeva. The court has sentenced Pistorius to 13 years and five months in prison. In a unanimous ruling, the court upheld the state's application for leave to appeal. This after the NPA appealed a six-year jail term imposed by the high court. Pistorius shot and killed his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's day in 2013.
