Thomas W. Sills wrote a book, "What Einstein Did Not See: Redefining Time to Understand Space." He is troubled most by the Twin Paradox, or as I prefer to call it, the Twin Problem. His fix involves two different definitions for time: timespace and Universal Time. In this video, I explain why I don't think this proposal has lasting value. "Space-time Physics" by Taylor and Wheeler explains the twin problem and has several questions that allow one to do calculations with the machinery of special relativity. Despite having two different new definitions of time, I did not see any calculations involving the twin problem. Thus I remain skeptical of that this book will be of lasting value.
