This week, the I Want to Sing Gospel contestants have been paired up and left to prepare duets. Nerves spark rapidly as they enter the studio for the first time, only to discover that Lindelani has recruited the assistance of three other judges - Keke, Bonsai Shongwe and Malie Kelly - to help him decide who's going home and who gets to fight another day.

I Want to Sing Gospel Series 1 is broadcast at 19:30 on SABC 1 every night of the week in anticipation of Series 3 which will start on 27 March.
Well-known music producer Lindelani Mkhize is searching for the next BIG gospel act to hit South Africa. Travelling across South Africa, Lindelani is tasked to listen and judge many South Africans of all cultures and backgrounds in this exciting Gospel music talent search. He takes the top 30 people to Johannesburg to select the one person (through a process of elimination and with the help of guest judges) who will be launched into the Gospel music industry globally.
