Video Blog Part 1 (23 days left) to finish the Royal Sport 1969 Camaro for the 2006 SEMA show in Las Vegas, NV, for Royal Purple Synthetic Oil. 

The first nightly video blog on building the 1969 Camaro Convertible for Royal Purple Synthetic Oil called the Royal Sport featuring Kelle Oeste, Kevin Oeste, and John Blandford.   This blog was shot on October 3, 2006, just 23 days before the car's 2006 SEMA Show debut.   In this chapter, the Schwartz Precision Chassis (the prototype for 1969 Camaro convertibles) was still in primer, the body was still on the chassis jig, and bodywork had just begun.  The then-tiny V8TV crew had a long way to go to the SEMA show, both in work do be done, and hauling the car to Las Vegas from middle America.   We had not even started the V8 Speed and Resto Shop yet, we were building cars for our V8TV Television show airing on the Men's Channel.   

This was shortly after YouTube was launched, but this was our first YouTube car build video blog, published after we started our channel in 2007.  In fact, this may be one of the very first car build video blogs online anywhere!  The original video aired on our TV show and was posted on our website in the early AM after shooting it on October 4, 2006.      

Much has changed since we launched our company in 2004 and began building cars in 2005, and we're happy to have these historical videos saved on YouTube to look back an enjoy.    Did the crew complete the car before the show?    You'll have to check out our other videos to find out!
