I test the boot times of the newest Apple Mac Mini. This is the middle of the road model that costs $699. The specs are 2.6 GHz Dual Core i5, 8 GB RAM, 1TB 5400 rpm Hard Drive, and Intel Iris Graphics. My plan is to swap out the 5400 rpm spinning drive for a 250GB or 500GB SSD drive to improve boot times and overall performance.
