When Animal Defenders International (ADI) rescued spectacled bears Sabina and Lucho as part of our Operation Spirit of Freedom mission in Peru, we also removed every other animal from the illegal zoo, including a fox. Having been torn from the wild, officials wanted the fox returned to his home so on our journey to the bears' new home we stopped, lifted down his cage, unlatched it, and he ran like the wind, into the hills!
