Episode 3 of the Tale of Sinuhe, where Sinuhe hears the news of Amenemhat's death. This is a modern book about Egyptian hierogyphs written by James P. Allen that I'm using to study. Allen transliterated the story from hieratic to hieroglyphic. Originally the story was written in scribbly handwriting that nobody understood for millennia. Looks like chicken scratches.
