Mr. President and The First Lady are aerating their nest after a rainy day in DC, which will help the nest materials to dry out. In this video, the infrared light is showcased. Even at night, this special lighting, invisible to the eagles, makes it possible to see what's going on, as the IR light is converted into visible light by the cameras - and then streamed to our viewers. This is a good video, also, to see a big difference between Mr. President and The First Lady. Of course, females are always larger, but Mr. President has a very prominent identifier that is absent from The First Lady, and that is a white blaze across his chest. You will see that at the end of the video. Thanks once again to Robin Jones, our nest videographer. ©American Eagle Foundation 2017.
