In the North, we are facing into an election because of the actions of the Democratic Unionist Party, who have failed to live up to their responsibilities to represent all citizens, to promote equality and respect and adhere to the principles of good governance. Sinn Féin’s resolve is to see the political institutions in place, but this must be on the basis of equality mutual respect.
