Basically, that's my dreamcast for Daphne du Maurier's Rebecca. To those of you who aren't familiar with the story, wikipedia surely sums it up better than I can do it:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rebecca_(novel)

Cast I used:
"I": Imogen Poots
Maxim de Winter: Tom Hiddleston
Rebecca de Winter: Katie McGrath
Mrs. Danvers: Pia Douwes

Now to the reason why I made this... Well, it's no secret I'm a huge sucker for musicals so when I was planning my trip to Germany last summer I decided to see Rebecca in Stuttgart. I never really wanted to see it, but Jan was playing Maxim there so I figured that Tarzan and Hamburg could wait (I'm going there in a month xD). Then I downloaded the Wien cast album... And the English concept album... And I still can't stop listening to those tracks. I watched every movie/TV adaptation I could find. I read the book which I didn't like much, but that suited me just fine since I loved the musical (oh and yeah I saw it in September and it's one of my favorite musicals of all time for sure). Anyway! I had the idea of how characters looked like in my head for a long time and the idea of making this... well, struck me. It's obvious I love Imogen, Tom and Katie (and Pia :D) and I just had to sort of let this out, you know? Yes, Tom is too young to be Maxim, but I can't picture anyone but him if Rebecca ever gets adapted again. If I could I would have used Jan or Arvid but there's no official footage to work with. So consider this whole thing my dreamcast. And yes, I know Rebecca herself doesn't even appear in the book but you can't really vid a song which says "Rebecca" so much without including the devious woman herself. :D
