Now we're at Chi Bi, on Wu side. This stage is somewhat different from the Shu version. In fact, the Wu version has a lot of variances depending on which musou mode you're playing. These variances can change the enemies you fight, the allies you fight, and the Shu reinforcements that appear later in the stage.

To start the stage they mention protecting the altar but as before it's never under any threat so you don't have to do a damn thing to protect it. Just take down the officers on the left side of the map so they don't go after Huang Gai, then go take out Xiahou Dun in the center. Once the wind blows, Huang Gai will move to where Xiahou Dun was positioned and begin the fire attack.

Now you can either go fight other enemies, which makes the fire attack take longer to activate but it still will, or you can go to Huang Gai's position and see a cutscene where you order archers to protect Huang Gai. Then enemy archers will appear on the opposite ship so you have to use your bow to snipe them. Doing so will cause the fire attack to trigger sooner, making the battle overall easier for your allies.

Xu Huang on the right tends to tear through your allies though, so you want to go help that side. Especially since Shu reinforcements appear on the left side of the map anyways, so you have even less to worry about there.

There's also an extremely rare cutscene you can get to trigger here by getting Huang Gai to approach Cao Cao while Zhang Liao is still alive. I only ever got it to trigger once and that was when I wasn't even trying to get it to trigger.

After the fire attack, Xu Shu will appear as reinforcements for Cao Cao with an amazing 1 star of morale, so he'll most likely get annihilated the second he gets into combat. But his appearance raises the morale of the entire enemy army nonetheless. But by that point it's usually too late to make a difference as your allies will still power through the enemy forces, unless Xu Huang is still alive in which case he's probably getting close to Sun Quan by this point and you'll definitely want to go stop him or B-line to Cao Cao.
