Unity 2013 My ball rolling game WIP

Following the tutorials on the Unity website plus adding my own ramp and 2nd room, I'd like to eventually use this software to make a 2D side scroller with 3D elements (Paralax BGs, 3D platforms yet 2D sprites hand drawn in photoshop). This is all practice at this point.
