We explore the "option" of a Prequel to The Walking Dead. In a recent article from comicbook.com, Andrew Lincoln gives his blessing towards recasting an actor to portray a young Rick Grimes showing the pre apocalypse life of Rick, Lori, Shane, Carl & more.

Furthermore Rick Grimes actor Andrew Lincoln states there is so much to explore forward and backward in time, to see backstories of Negan, Merle and more ( which I have recently commented on in videos before this story aired)

I think this is incredibly awesome, and even though we are getting 3 movies telling the story of what happened to Rick after the "Bridge Incident", I'd love to see normal Grimes life, pre-apocalypse, even the relationship struggles Rick confided in Shane.
