How CCC Alumni Can Help Current Corps Members

A lot of the California Conservation Corps alumni have asked me how they can help current CCC members. I decided to ask current corps members and have them tell you. The CCC has evolved with current economic realities. We are no longer 100% state funded. That means we depend on our partners to hire us. The CCC also has a bigger extracurricular and education program than ever. Current corps members volunteer thousands of hours in our communities each year. Alumni can help provide opportunities for corps members to better serve their communities, provide volunteer and educational opportunities, and spread the word about corps members' efforts to serve their state.
