Citi pledges $2K per Mets home run to charity

Citigroup will donate $2,000 to charity every time the New York Mets hit a home run, spokespeople for the corporation announced on Tuesday. Sitting alongside Mets outfielder Curtis Granderson at a Citibank branch in Union Square, the Citi officials said the money will go to one of four charities each time a homer is hit - City Harvest, United Neighborhood Houses, USO and the YMCA.
