Cpl. Bill Kerr lost three of his limbs in 2008 while serving with the Canadian military in Afghanistan, and is asking for community support for a Oct. 4 fundraising event. Hike For A Hero, will take place on the new Highway 69-four lane 20 km extension south of Sudbury, just before it is open to motorists.
