How my Grandmother's Birthday proved the Earth is NOT Flat

Lately, the idiocy of the Flat Earth society continues to find it's way into the comments of my videos. Here's a hilarious comment from one such scientifically illiterate individual: "Now that we live in a world of relatively-cheap mega-zoom digital cameras, all you need to do when that boat, mountain, or building 'slips Around The Curvature' is put a P900-typs camera to your eye, zoom up, and the camera MAGICALLY SUCKS IT BACK UP OVER THE CURVE!!!" No doubt unbeknownst to this individual is the fact that I already have video evidence proving how out of touch with reality he is. Last December, we took my grandmother up to Ettalong Beach to celebrate her 92nd birthday. I recorded the day out with my Panasonic HC-V250M with an 80x zoom. By comparison, the Nikon P900 that the Flat Earther mentioned has a 83x zoom. I have used this camera many times to take videos of the stars and close up pictures of craters of the Moon, so I thought I'd take some videos of boats going over the horizon. I was at least 2 meters above sea level when taking these videos. As you will see in this video, a highly magnified zoom does not magically bring the obscured portion of the boats back into view. It only magnifies your view of the partially obscured boats. Not only that, but this video also shows video of waves splashing up from below the horizon, presumably caused by the waves splashing against rocks or shoreline obscured by the horizon. There you go: proof the Earth is round without any help from NASA. And remember: this is the Grandson of the Apollo Hoax Theory talking here! You don't need NASA to prove the Earth is round, you can do it yourself with an 80x zoom lens camera and a trip to the beach. Special Thanks to my Grandmother who made this video possible.
