Sprite Animation: Zio-senpai will never notice you

I... I don't know. I really don't. I was playing around and taking some screens to get sprites and backgrounds and just got this idea in my head. The expressions on Juza and Zio's character portraits helped a lot. Juza looks kinda worried and concerned. And Zio has this "can't you see I'm very busy here?" look on his face. Like the type of guy that wouldn't have time for your lovey dovey nonsense. He's far too busy with his death cult to  go cherry blossom viewing in the park or go shopping for cute phone straps. So admire Zio from afar. Because that's as far as you will get. The total annihilation of all life in Algo cannot wait for love.

Anywaiz, this is my first time using Windows Movie Maker. I had ignored it until now. But it was very easy to figure out and use. These are just still screen mockups I made with sprites and a background. It took longer than expected too. So if I wanted to do something more complex it would take even longer. But I guess that's logical. It's too bad that Zio doesn't seem to have a back or side sprite. Juza can face all four cardinal directions. But he can't walk. Zio has a short walking animation that is used when he steps forward in Nurvus. I wanted to capture it so I could have Zio walk out of the room. But it would have been very tedious. I wasn't up for that. So you are left with this cheap "animation". I might make more sometime. Probably for my own amusement first and foremost.

I used the Motabia Village theme here because I thought it was fitting to the situation. The way it clashes with Zio's Fort and poor Juza's predicament just seemed perfect to me.

*edit* Changed the title to clarify that it's a sprite animation. I couldn't think of another way to describe it. Just in case someone who never played thought it was a scene for some reason. or thought it was a comical title to actual gameplay footage.
