Part two after last week's job when we removed the larger lead which had split out. It ended up in four yards. The standing tree was over two different yards, and leaned away from the only drop zone, which was a mere 25-30 feet square with a fence, deck, Japanese maple and more to avoid. So, controlled speedlining was the only option to get the brush on the ground. As the video shows, we utilized the bight in the speedline, and a 3-1 Z-rig to lift and swing the loads into the drop zone, by tensioning the line as the load is slowly cut free. We determined that the split in the tree didn't weaken it enough to be concerned about climbing and working the tree safely. It also helped that the rigging forces were against the lean (by about 150 degrees, not exactly opposite.
