Cheap Eats Manila: Falafel Yo Israel Falafel and Salad Bar Greenbelt 3 Makati.  Falafel Yo was established on July 1 2017 at the Greenbelt 3 Mall in Makati to serve authentic Israeli falafels and was setup by Yuval Mann, Nofar Mann and Guy Mann.  This is the 2nd venture for these Israeli Nationals who have called Manila their home for the past 7 years and wanted to share their cuisine.  Their first restaurant is the chic casual Israeli Café Chaplin at the Century City Mall.  

Falafel is a traditional street food in Israel and considered to be the national dish of the country made with mashed chickpeas, parsley, coriander, garlic, and other Mediterranean spices.

Falafel Yo offers 3 different sandwiches: Falafel Yo is their traditional take on the Israeli sandwich which has 6 deep-fried falafel balls stuffed in a chewy pita bread lined with vegetables; Falafelito, about half of the Yo, perfect for kids, comes with fries and no chili then Falafel Beast combines beef and chickpeas.  They have an ongoing Beast Challenge where if you can finish the Falafel Beast in 90 seconds you get it for free plus  a Beast Mode T-shirt.  

We highly recommend their Falafel Yo, Falafel Beast and Lemongrass juice.
