Carl Douglas (born 1942) is a Jamaican-born singer, most famous for his song "Kung Fu Fighting", which hit number one on both the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart in 1974. He did release two other singles ("Dance The Kung Fu" and "Blue Eyed Soul") but he has gone down in recording history as an example of a one hit wonder. He now resides in Los Angeles where he runs a publishing company that coordinates films, documentaries, and advertisements.
