National Conference denies Allegation on New Constitution

The National Conference has denied allegation published in a National Daily on Sunday and Monday that the Deputy Chairman of the Conference Professor Bolaji Akinyemi has lobbied some delegates for their support to produce a new constitution for Nigeria. This allegation was brought to the floor of the conference by delegate Is'hak Kawu. It was laid to rest after an acceptable explanation by the conference Deputy Chairman and two other delegates, Raymond Dokpesi and Ibrahim Coomassie.
