The Splashtop HD and Splashtop 2 applications are well worth using. You can even play games and watch videos on your phone or tablet that are loaded on your computer. I have a friend with an iPad and I believe the application was $4.99 for the Apple. Even at $4.99 this application is well worth the purchase. Of course free is better, but even if you have an Apple buy this app. The remote access streaming is super smooth and responsive. The Splashtop HD application was free on my Sony Tablet S and I assume it is free on the Sony Xperia as well. Splashtop 2 allows remote access even when you're not on the same network as the client computer similar to Logmein.
