And while seeing them in person was a lot like seeing them on TV or on YouTube, there was a subtle difference that took a day to percolate through... ...they're pathetic. Seriously, they're nothing, these people. They're empty, they're protesting by rote; nobody cares, nobody pays attention. And those that DO pay attention are turned off, decide they want nothing to do with people like THAT. As far as I can see, from now on the Westboro Baptist Church might as well be dead to me, non-existent, nothing. Leave this sad cult alone, despite their loud demonstrations; they do themselves more harm than good. Anyway, just my personal, rambling, unscripted thoughts on the matter.
