Salvatore Babones is an American-born professor of sociology and social policy at the University of Sydney. He's joining me this evening from Australia to discuss the premise of his book, The New Authoritarianism, which recently made its way onto a list of the Best Books on Politics in 2018 published by the Wall Street Journal (https://www.wsj.com/articles/books-on-politics-best-of-2018-1544190105).

What does Donald Trump's election mean for the future of American conservatism, liberalism, and progressivism? Prof. Babones has a lot of compelling points to share with us!
