Over the last ten years, the production of cultural and consumer goods has opened to the masses. Smartwatches, films, video games, music albums and books can be produced by almost any small group of individuals. However, independent creators have struggled to find a consumer audience for their products. Faced with the challenge of replicating the advantages of a large corporate brand, we'll look at ways that independent creators are finding their own paths to the right consumer audiences for their work.
