Greetings, Eric Bakker, naturopath. Thank you for coming in and looking at this video. The question today is, can Candida cause fatigue? Candida can cause fatigue on multiple levels, absolutely.
Many people with a yeast problem are tired. They're either mentally tired, or they're emotionally tired, or they're physically tired.
I generally see that the fatigue pattern on all those three levels of people with Candida. Candida is a major disrupter of the bowel flora. It creates a lot of mycotoxins, that's a lot of poisons are produced, jams up the immune system, it certainly increases the immune system's ability to become over responsive.
It starts to inflame different parts of the body up, starts to suppress parts of the immune system, starts to mess around with the good bacteria.
Their production declines very slowly, so their ability to produce new vitamins becomes impaired, fatigue sets in. It's very common to hear fatigue as part of the Candida cleansing process.
As people are coming through the process, they get increasingly tired. So yeah, to answer that question, can Candida cleanse cause fatigue, very much.
And that's why I said in a previous video, it's all about timing. It's about working out the correct time to do a cleanse for you. Just bear in mind that the first one week to ten days of your Candida cleanse can be very exhausting.
So you need to allow that in terms of your working week. So think about it. You can, really cleanse really well from Candida, but it is potentially gonna cause some fatigue, ranging from mild up to quite extreme, depending on how bad your Candida is.
This is why testing's good. If you've done a stool test, you can work out what your level of Candida is, and that will give you a fairly good idea on your level of fatigue if you push the body too hard.
And if you don't push too hard, you can cleanse the Candida without getting too tired. It's just a matter of really understanding how hard to push the body, and how hard not to push the body.
So you can avoid fatigue by going through a cleanse. But sometimes major fatigue happens for no reason too. So as I've mentioned previously, get checked out first, test the levels to see what you've got, then treat, you know, appropriately, so you don't get too tired during that cleanse.
Thanks for tuning in.
