(4 Dec 2018) U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy reminisced about his relationship with former President George H.W. Bush on Monday calling him a "good friend" as a motorcade brought Bush's body for a ceremony at the Capitol. "I miss him," said Leahy, a longtime Vermont Democrat who said he first became close with Bush after he was elected Vice President. "We became very good friends, had lunch together a number of times, we'd talk about things," Leahy said. Bush died Friday in Houston at age 94. An invitation-only funeral service is set for Wednesday at Washington National Cathedral.
