Amtrak Capitol Limited P029 passes west bound at mp294.5 on the CSX Pittsburgh Sub last night at about 2250 hours. We get a friendly wave from Tony D. the engineer in the Amtrak 156 Heritage unit. Power for tonight's train was Amtrak 156/809/45 and 15 cars. 6 cars that where assigned to the Martina McBride for Breast Cancer Awareness, (The Pink Express). Thanks for a heads from a Yahoo Group friend Dave D. and a timely confirmation, and location from Mike G. Thanks to both you guys, as I would have been standing on the front porch giving Tony the High-ball with no idea, and no camera. We finish off the clip with the sound of the crickets, Amtrak's horns fading away through town, and my restored B&O CPL displaying a clear signal.
