Groups call on school district to take action to address racism

With a new school year approaching, some members of the Anne Arundel County community are demanding the school system address an alarming pattern of racism. Several groups, including the local branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, the Council on American-Islamic Relations and clergy called for real practices to be established and they want them in place by Sept. 1.
