On September 22, 2015, The King's Academy, a National Blue Ribbon School, broke ground for a new 23,000 sf Center for the Performing Arts, to be completed in fall 2016. TKA has an award-winning performing arts program led by Mr. David Snyder (Artistic Director, Musical Theater), Mrs. Sonia Santiago (Vocal Arts), Mrs. Cathy Higgins (Dance- Ballet and Jazz), Mrs. Jacquie Lopez (Dance- Tap, Modern and Jazz), Mrs. Alexa Tiller (Dance- Ballet, Hip Hop and Modern), Mr. Brad Majzner (Stagecraft); and fine arts conservatory led by Mr. Eric Dunn (Band Director and Department Chair), Mr. Will Smith (Assistant Band Director), Dr. Patrick Clifford (Strings), Mr. Cameron Smith (Digital Arts), Mr. Andy Camizzi (Art), Miss Mikah Adams (Popular Music), Mr. Gene George (Elementary Band) and Mrs. Robin Phillips (Elementary Choir).
