Here is a video of my reverse rotation Wolseley WD 8. The engine was built in 1950, fairly early on in the production run, WD8's were built from 1949 until 1961. The engine produces 1.5HP at 700RPM. Thats the rating but looking at a power curve for the engine, it actualy produces about 2HP at that speed. It has a capacity of 404CC and a bore/stroke of 3inches by 3.5inches. It is a side valve machine and runs unleaded fuel, ignition here being by a Wico "A" type impulse magneto and sparking plug. The engine weighs about 130KG so is nice and heavy!
