Happy Hobby Days & Happy Holidays! The first Tamiya is always special, so I just had to film this moment and share it.

Happy Birthday to my son who is turning four years old today. Time for his first Tamiya and his first classic hobby-grade monster truck. Let's go RC'ing!

Since my own first Tamiya was a Tamiya WT-01 Monster Truck (and I still have it), since my son loooves RCs and big tire Monster Trucks, since his favorite color is blue, since he this year has acquired the skills to handle two channels at the same time, since the WT-01 is low geared and not fast, and since our family plans for 2019 will be perfect for some off road monster truckin', we just had to get him a Tamiya WT-01 Mud Blaster II. Looking so much forward to some WT-01 fun in 2019 together with him.

At the moment I'm spending all my time with my family in our small vacation house out in the woods. This video was shot early in the morning on the 23rd of December. The skeleton-outfit is just one of my son't favorite PJs. I hope to return in a few days with some longer RC videos. My family and I wish you some very happy hobby days and holidays!
