I've been wanting to do this for a long time. Sadly it did not end very well. You'll see why.

Using the ever handy peninsula north of the Aiedo Passageway and the Hydrofoil I warped in right on the catwalk leading to the Nurvus main terminal. Since Zio appears automatically when walking on a specific area of tiles as long as you are in range the battle should start even if you are a bit out of bounds. for some reason the vehicle will turn to the right when Zio appears. At the start of battle the graphics will be glitchy and the whole of the Hydrofoil HUD won't display correctly. But the menu is still there. It's just invisible. To fix things just confirm a choice like attack.

X-Burst is the only attack that will do any damage. And it only does one paltry HP worth. Because it is impossible to use the Psycho Wand while on a vehicle (I didn't have it on me anyway) you can't dispel the magic barrier. So you'll never be able to do any real damage. Not that it matters anyway. Because on the third round Zio will use Black Wave, instantly killing the entire party. The screen even reverts back to the normal battle HUD. The invincibility code is worthless here by the way. It will not protect you against certain things like the Black Wave. I even tried it with a level 99 party with all the proper members. And we still were wiped out. I thought it was possible to beat Zio without using the Psycho Wand even though you’d have to rely on one HP of damage max from certain attacks. Must be the Black Wave doing me in plus the fact that I am not supposed to be on the Hydrofoil here.

So I guess that's that. At least I gave it the ole' Academy try.

At about 1:02 you hear a sound effect that's kind of like laughter. But it might just be some weird glitchyness. I don't think it's normal? Can't remember.
