The final part of 7 videos on board the 'Cambrian Coast Express' hauled by ex-LMS Black 5 4-6-0 no.44871 over the magnificent Cambrian Coast Line from Machynlleth to Pwhelli and back. In this video we are seen at Tywyn on a station stop before setting off again, we pass be the Talyllyn Railway although sadly there were no engines there so not much whistling. Speeding along now past the sand dunes of Aberdovey and passing through Aberdovey itself before snaking alongside the Dovey Estuary then stopping at Dovey Junction. Leaving Dovey Junction we are now on the final stretch of the journey and soon we are back where we started at Machynlleth where 44871 will run round the stock to shunt it onto the opposite line to shunt it into the sidings ready for the final journey of the year. Sadly I only managed to film her shunting the stock into the siding due to my camcorders lens cover not opening fully due to the amount of soot it had in it so I was quite annoyed about that and had to miss most of the action sort it out. Ah well, can't have everything I suppose. Still it was a great day out and a fantastic experience made even better by the glorious weather we had that day. Filmed on Panasonic HS60 HD Camcorder Enjoy
