This video was done at the request of my brother and his wife as they couldn’t make it to our house up here in Grover Beach for the 4th of July weekend. They wanted to know what the fireworks were like.

Well, the fireworks were, more or less, everywhere; with four fireworks stands lining up and down Grand Ave., pretty much everybody had their own show on their street leading up to the official show at the end of the Pismo Beach Pier.

…..and don’t get me started on the hypocrisy of that ‘Fireworks Are Illegal’ jazz. As you can see at the first part of this video, nobody was taking this seriously, especially on the beach.

Anyways, enjoy the brief cacophony and the actual show itself.
