Visit http://jandjacres.net for this and other family activities. Today at J&J Acres we perform some Bicycle Repair and Maintenance for the Handyman Activity Badge in the Cub Scout Webelos rank. Cub Scout requirements are not overly difficult and if you take the time to read and understand what you boy will have to do you can find many daily tasks that will help him complete his advancements. In this video we complete three of the optional requirements for the Handyman Activity Badge, numbers 6, 7 and 8: 6) Make a repair to a bicycle, such as tightening the chin, fixing a flat tire, or adjusting the seat or handlebars. In our video we show you how to adjust the seat. 7) Properly lubricate the chain on a bicycle. In our video we explain to you how this is done and why it is important. 8) Properly inflate the tires on the bicycle. In our video we explain to you how this is done and why it is important.
