Mooloolaba is a coastal suburb of Maroochydore in the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, Australia. It is located 97 kilometres north of the state capital, Brisbane, and is part of the Maroochydore urban centre. In the 2016 census, Mooloolaba had a population of 7,730 people.

Maroochydore is a coastal town and suburb of the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, Australia. At the 2016 census the suburb recorded a population of 16,800. The town was subdivided from the Cotton Tree reserve by Surveyor Thomas O'Connor in 1903.
